HR Generalist
We are seeking a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to join our team in the construction and civil engineering industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. Your expertise in HR practices will be vital in supporting our workforce and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Employee Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, documentation, and training. Ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization and understand company policies and procedures.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances. Provide guidance and support on workplace issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Performance Management: Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and feedback. Support managers in addressing performance issues and implementing development plans.
- Training and Development: Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs and professional development initiatives. Identify training needs and work with external vendors or internal resources to deliver relevant training.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals. Communicate policies to employees and ensure consistent application.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role, preferably within the construction or civil engineering industry.
