Role Overview
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that the store’s visual presentation aligns with IKEA manuals, fully implementing the IKEA Concept.
What You Will Do
- Plan and coordinate the setup of accessory shops, shop windows, activity podiums, perimeter breaks, self-serve areas, Swedish Food Market, and Exit Café displays within the IKEA store.
- Ensure the integrity of the IKEA concept and brand by adhering to IKEA manuals, creating functional home furnishing solutions in the store.
- Collaborate with the 1st Interior Designer to ensure that functional and inspirational displays align with ongoing commercial activities.
- Work with the Sales and In-Store Logistics teams to efficiently implement projects and daily sales activities using IKEA display solutions, communication, and sales techniques.
- Support the planning and implementation of the store’s commercial calendar.
- Ensure cost-effective, safe, and environmentally friendly display solutions are implemented, in line with local regulations.
- Stay informed about local market home furnishing trends and solutions.
Skills
- Proven ability to visualize, design, and communicate home furnishing and retail solutions.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality results within limited timeframes.
