Testing Engineer

Requirements:

• A 4-year BE/BTech degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in testing and pre-commissioning work for elevated substations, primary substations, and associated equipment is required.
• Knowledge of testing CTs, PTs, meters, transducers, power transformers, circuit breakers, and all associated equipment of switchgear (SWGR) as well as other auxiliary substation equipment such as batteries and battery chargers is necessary.
• Experience in testing numerical protection relays, including Directional & Non-Directional Overcurrent (OC) relays, Earth Fault (EF) relays, Transformer & Line Differential relays, Under Voltage (UV) & Under Frequency (UF) relays, voltage regulating relays, and other auxiliary relays.
• Familiarity with protection schemes and the ability to conduct commissioning tests such as primary injection tests, stability tests, and high voltage (HV) tests.
• Preference will be given to local candidates with experience in MEW (Ministry of Electricity and Water).
