A Quantity Surveyor holds a critical position in the construction and civil engineering sectors, focusing on managing project costs and budgets. This role is essential for ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints while upholding quality standards. The Quantity Surveyor will handle a variety of responsibilities, such as cost estimation, contract management, and financial reporting. Responsibilities:

– Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural and engineering plans.
– Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate project viability from a financial perspective.
– Oversee and monitor project budgets, ensuring compliance with financial limitations.
– Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
– Conduct routine site visits to assess progress and ensure project specifications are met.
– Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to achieve project goals.
– Provide financial guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
– Generate financial reports and forecasts to update stakeholders on project status.
– Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
