Responsibilities:
1. Business Management
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of Fleet & Corporate sales strategies internally and in alignment with brand standards.
- Effectively manage and promote the product line through government, tenders, rental, and wholesale channels.
- Provide the GM with forecasts, budgets, sales volumes, product mix, planning, and profit analyses.
- Regularly monitor departmental performance against relevant KPIs and budget.
- Develop and implement (in coordination with the GM) pricing and discount policies in line with principal guidelines.
- Establish and continuously monitor standard operating procedures for the Fleet & Corporate Sales department to ensure process optimization.
- Design and implement performance-based variable remuneration programs for the Fleet & Corporate sales team.
2. Customer Satisfaction
- Define and monitor business targets related to the CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) score.
- Ensure the delivery of professional and friendly customer service in alignment with brand image.
- Develop and implement customer lifecycle follow-up systems to enhance business opportunities and foster customer loyalty.
3. Customer Vehicle Delivery
- Ensure pre-delivery inspections are completed as per brand policies.
- Oversee vehicle handovers to ensure they meet brand distributor standards.
4. Stock Monitoring and Ordering Management
- Manage vehicle stock levels in compliance with distributor policies.
- Ensure the DMS (Dealer Management System) is updated with accurate vehicle and stock information.
- Monitor sales pipelines and oversee vehicle ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
5. Market Development
- Monitor competitor activities in the local market, including pricing, promotions, and sales processes, and propose improvement measures.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate promotional campaigns in coordination with the Marketing & CRM departments.
6. Auto Financing and Insurance Sales Support
- Ensure competitive auto financing and insurance products are effectively communicated during the sales process.
- Support the Sales department in implementing auto finance and insurance campaigns.
7. Reporting
- Generate regular reports on vehicle sales and stock management as required by management.
- Maintain an up-to-date customer database and provide detailed customer information to all relevant departments.
8. Compliance
- Stay informed of local automotive laws and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Implement checks to verify adherence to legal and compliance standards across distributor and partner processes.
9. People Management
- Collaborate with the GM and HR to determine manpower requirements, recruit staff, and develop induction plans.
- Set business objectives and personal development goals, monitoring performance against targets.
- Develop, motivate, and train employees based on their abilities and skillsets.
- Identify training needs and arrange suitable programs.
- Provide ongoing guidance, support, and feedback to team members.
- Promote compliant behavior and ensure adherence to company HR policies at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Preferred: MBA, Sales Management Certification, or equivalent.
Experience
- Years of Experience: 10–15 years in Sales.
- Field of Expertise:
- Business management knowledge.
- Experience in sales, including stock control and customer relationship management.
- Awareness of competitor products in the passenger car segment and local market conditions.
- Understanding of vehicle legislation and trade practices.
