Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll processing for supermarket employees, including both hourly and salaried staff.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (e.g., taxes and insurance).
  • Ensure strict compliance with Kuwaiti labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits and deductions, such as health insurance and pension contributions.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with payroll audits.
  • Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Support financial reporting, account reconciliations, and other accounting-related tasks as needed.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing and accounting, preferably in the supermarket or retail industry.
  • Strong proficiency in payroll software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Kuwaiti labor laws.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
