This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology to enhance banking services, streamline operations, and improve efficiency. The IT Business Partner ensures that IT strategies and solutions support the bank’s overall business objectives, focusing on areas like digital banking, automation, and operational integration. The position typically requires strong communication skills, knowledge of banking processes, and expertise in IT systems.
IT Business Partner (IBG & Banking Operations) ( $4,000 – $5,000)
Nair Systems is a QFC-based, boutique technology consulting and professional services firm specializing in Digital Banking, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data & Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and Robotic Process Automation.
We are currently seeking an IT Business Partner – IBG & Banking Operations for our Qatar operations, with the following qualifications and responsibilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or International Business
- 6+ years of experience in international banking IT
- Preferred experience with SWIFT, remittance systems, screening solutions, AML solutions, and cross-border transaction platforms.
Role Profile Summary
- Provides IT support for the International Banking Group, focusing on technology solutions for cross-border operations, compliance, and global banking needs.
- Ensures that systems and processes meet international banking requirements.
Skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, enabling the IT Business Partner to identify and resolve technical challenges while developing innovative solutions tailored to client and stakeholder needs.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Java, C++, Python, and Ruby, to create and deploy complex software solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and senior management, translating technical concepts into business-aligned IT strategies, and delivering solutions within set timelines and budgets.
- In-depth understanding of international banking IT systems, including SWIFT, remittance systems, and cross-border platforms.
