The primary responsibility of the Copywriter is to serve as a crucial collaborator in our editorial and content optimization efforts for all printed and published materials. You will actively seek new opportunities for content execution and regularly experiment with various content formats and styles to establish a strong emotional connection with our customers across all markets. You will oversee the development of consumer-targeted printed and web content from conception to publication by collaborating with external agencies and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
You will work closely with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for content review, proofreading, and enhancements. As a storyteller, you’ll determine the appropriate content needed throughout the customer journey, ensuring visual and copy consistency across all publication channels, whether print or digital. You will consistently optimize the content and editorial processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cultural relevance in the languages required for each market.
You will translate communications between English and Arabic for external correspondence. Based on commercial insights and local needs, you will design and develop new content and lead the adaptation of existing materials. You will also engage in agile projects to swiftly and effectively implement improvements. Regular analysis of the performance of our printed and web content using analytics tools will be essential for identifying insights and lessons for future projects. A strong understanding of the IKEA tone of voice is crucial to promote best practices in copywriting within our markets. You will review and ensure the accurate application of the IKEA tone of voice in both internal and external communications across all languages relevant to our markets.
Skills and Qualifications
Job Requirements:

- Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English; proficiency in French is a plus.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position located in Kuwait, and some travel may be required.
