  • Preparing the budget for submission to the Ministry of Finance for approval.
  • Reviewing the final approved budget entries in the system to activate the accounting system.
  • Monitoring and reviewing periodic budget reports, tracking spending ratios from the budget, and preparing necessary periodic reports to inform departments about spending ratios and project completion percentages.
  • Reviewing quarterly actual expenditure reports, uploading them to the “Maliyah” system, and providing a copy to the ministry.
  • Making necessary updates for review by the Head of the Budget Department and the Head of General Accounts before final presentation to the Director of Financial Affairs.
  • Deducting financial obligations for transactions scheduled for payment before the disbursement process.
  • Informing the Head of the Budget Department of Ministry of Finance transfers, noting any discrepancies.
  • Reviewing trial balance balances, closing accounts, and making necessary adjustment entries monthly.
  • Performing any additional tasks assigned by the Head of the General Accounts Department.

Skills Required:

  • Experience in the government sector.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English, in both spoken and written forms.
  • Public speaking, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.
  • Negotiation and meeting management skills.
  • Ability to make accurate decisions under work pressure.
  • Communication, leadership, and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to manage work pressures effectively.
