The SPD Sales Engineer is responsible for managing sales of spare parts for heavy and industrial equipment, focusing on serving existing clients and expanding the client database to support career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with company sales policies and reporting systems as directed by the manager.
  • Travel to meet potential clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Assess and interpret customer needs to provide optimal solutions.
  • Prioritize cost-saving measures and align all actions with company goals.
  • Persuade clients that products or services meet their requirements effectively.

Core Duties:

  • Identify customer needs for spare parts and advise on appropriate options using spare parts manuals.
  • Achieve sales targets consistently.
  • Prepare accurate quotations by estimating costs, and provide technical support by addressing client inquiries.
  • Build and sustain new and existing customer relationships.
  • Understand the decision-making structure of each customer.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrate product value to clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to fulfill client and company needs, leading to successful sales closures.
  • Monitor parts deliveries and assist in collections when necessary.
  • Submit weekly call plans, visit reports, and other required documentation.
  • Gather and maintain customer machine information to update the database.
  • Resolve client issues and offer after-sales support.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in handling diverse products and client profiles.
  • Strong technical sales, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Job Description:

  • Customer-oriented with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to achieve high performance individually and in team settings.
  • Valid Kuwait driver’s license required.
  • Validation by the Kuwait Society of Engineers is an advantage.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Spare Parts Sales, ideally in Heavy & Industrial Equipment.
