Position Overview:

The ideal candidate for this role will excel at creating and closing new business opportunities through a consultative sales approach. This position requires a strategic, results-oriented individual who can identify, qualify, and develop targeted customer opportunities, driving sales growth with both new and existing clients in the Warehousing and Freight sectors.

The candidate will use their expertise to convert customer business objectives into actionable sales opportunities while working closely with the sales team to ensure sustainable growth for Canis Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Business Development:

  • Generate and cultivate high-quality leads for Warehousing storage facilities and Freight services.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align business development efforts with growth objectives.

Consultative Sales Approach:

  • Apply a consultative selling strategy to fully understand customer needs, assess their business goals, and create tailored solutions that add value through Canis Logistics services.

Opportunity Creation:

  • Use a value-based approach to uncover opportunities with both existing and new clients.
  • Leverage customer insights and industry trends to position Canis Logistics as a vital partner in their growth and success.

Collaboration with Management:

  • Work cross-functionally with team management to ensure a smooth and effective customer experience, including timely follow-ups, tailored solutions, and strong relationship management.

Sales Process Management:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Ensure accurate customer information is recorded in the CRM system and contribute to sales forecasting and reporting.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and sustain long-term, trusting relationships with clients to promote repeat business and referrals.
  • Offer expert consultation and strategic insights to support clients’ logistics needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Warehousing and Freight sector in Qatar.
  • Strong understanding of warehousing, freight services, and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Valid Qatar driving license.
