Emergency Medicine Physician

• Oversee a 24-hour emergency department to ensure definitive care.
• Serve as the team leader during shifts, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved, such as triage-to-consultation times.
• Conduct clinical assessments and manage all patients within the emergency department.
• Supervise bed management, including case upgrades/downgrades and patient transfers in and out of the department.
• Lead resuscitation efforts during code blue situations.
• Direct the management of disaster codes.
• Provide online directives to EMS during shifts.
• May have partial administrative responsibilities, including policy writing and nursing education.
• Enhance the patient experience in the emergency department.
• Advocate for the health and well-being of emergency department patients.
• Participate in monthly interdepartmental meetings.
• Support nursing staff during shifts to improve patient care.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient medical records and insurance information.

Skills and Qualifications:

• MBBS in Emergency Medicine
• Postgraduate or Master’s Degree in Emergency Medicine
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience
• Bilingual
