Job Title: Technical Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Design Oversight: Monitor and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure design accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project scope and timeline.
Document Management: Maintain a comprehensive record of design submissions and correspondence from consultants.
Variation Order Evaluation: Evaluate and endorse variation orders and concession requests submitted by consultants for client approval.
Design Review: Review and comment on all design drawings and documents, ensuring incorporation of revisions.
Technical Transmittal: Prepare and manage technical transmittals, including shop drawings, proposals, and RFIs.
Design Collaboration: Facilitate meetings with consultants, sub-consultants, and the client to review design documents and make informed decisions.
Value Engineering: Propose alternative materials and systems to optimize design and construction costs.
Team Management: Establish and manage a dedicated design team onsite to monitor consultant and contractor work.
Performance Management: Set goals, conduct appraisals, and provide skill development opportunities for team members.
Documentation and Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate documentation, filing, and reporting of design information.
Client Liaison: Maintain regular communication with the client to address design issues and ensure satisfaction.
Industry Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends, methodologies, and best practices in project management and design engineering.
Continuous Improvement: Adapt and adopt best practices to drive continuous improvement.
