OBJECTIVE
This role involves various responsibilities depending on the assigned project. It is crucial to business operations and the execution of approved project assignments by the marketing team. These projects may include in-market sales promotions, support staff, brand talks, sampling, catering, and special events. The short-term goal is to increase business revenue and achieve customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent customer service to encourage business repeatability or re-engagement.
- Independently execute role assignments to master the assigned project.
- Train new Sales Promoters across multiple areas based on approved projects/assignments.
- Provide coaching to new staff to ensure effective work execution and minimize errors.
- Collect information on the promoted product and competitors’ brands.
- Identify areas for improvement and opportunities to achieve better results.
- Adapt product demonstrations based on audience size and attention span.
- Recommend specific products based on fast-moving items.
- Gather relevant information to improve work methods and contribute to overall operations.
- Demonstrate the product to customers at assigned store outlets or other venues.
- Market the product to clients or consumers by showing how it is best used.
- Ensure the assigned area is clean and products are properly stored and displayed.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product pricing, features, and applications.
- Set up booths or sampling stands and assemble materials/products, including pictures and samples.
- Distribute product samples, giveaways, or meals (for catering) as per the quota, walking around within stores or venues to offer samples to customers.
- Wear proper uniforms or entry passes while on duty.
- May take orders during in-market assignments.
- May manage operating allowances for specific operations and perform basic inventory tasks (stocks, samples, distribution, sales).
- Generate reports on activity outcomes.
- Assist in obtaining outlet approvals and perform courier or messenger-related activities.
- Record observations related to the assigned project to improve quality and contribute to operational strategies.
SKILLS
- Vocational course completion or at least 2 years of college education, preferably in Hospitality.
- 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality industry or FMCG-related business.
- Demonstrated sales and influencing skills.
- Basic numerical skills.
- Pleasant personality, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate in basic English (read/write/speak); Arabic skills are a plus.
- Proven customer-handling skills and a flair for customer service.
