At Marhaba GTS, you will take a leading role in identifying, developing, and nurturing key partnerships with retailers and other potential stakeholders across Kuwait. Your mission will be to design and execute a partnership strategy that aligns with our overall business goals. By engaging with key industry players, you will secure collaborations that enhance our loyalty solutions and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding
- Oversee the end-to-end process of onboarding merchants for loyalty, rewards, and B2B marketplace projects, including solutions such as gift cards, coupons, discounts, cashback, points exchange, instant redemption, and digital payments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients across diverse industries, such as F&B, airlines, hotels, telecom, and retail.
- Expand the merchant portfolio by onboarding top luxury brands to enrich corporate programs.
SaaS Product Implementation
- Facilitate client onboarding onto our marketplace platform, allowing brands to offer tailored gift card solutions to both B2C and B2B customers.
- Integrate merchants into proprietary platforms for real-time issuance, flexible denominations, partial redemption, and seamless POS/online store functionality.
- Develop and execute regional partnership strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to meet sales goals and expand market reach.
Strategic Collaboration and Growth
- Work closely with partners to create joint marketing plans, budgets, and campaigns, boosting brand visibility and customer acquisition.
- Leverage market insights and industry trends to identify and prioritize new partnership opportunities.
- Track KPIs and partnership revenue, implementing improvements for efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with Sales Support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful execution of partnership initiatives.
- Spearhead efforts to enter new markets through strategic partnerships, expanding the company’s regional influence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or sales, ideally in loyalty, rewards, or fintech sectors.
- Market Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Kuwait markets and demonstrated success in merchant onboarding.
- Relationship Building: Proven stakeholder management experience, including handling high-profile partners.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office, SaaS platforms, digital payment systems, and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret market data and KPIs to make informed strategic decisions.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills with the ability to create compelling proposals and marketing plans.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Adept at finding innovative solutions to challenges.
- Team Collaboration: Experience in matrixed environments and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
