Al Mulla Electronics Company is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to join its team as part of a strategic partnership with a global leader in consumer electronics, home appliances, and HVAC systems. The role focuses on managing customer orders, resolving order-related issues, and addressing inquiries regarding order status, pricing, credits, delivery confirmations, and product returns. Key responsibilities include demand and supply planning across multiple product categories, forecasting volumes and revenues, and ensuring effective supply procurement. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced analytical skills are critical for success in this role.
The Operations Manager will oversee demand forecasting and inventory management to meet customer objectives for optimal inventory levels and service standards. This role also involves managing logistics, minimizing transportation costs, and ensuring excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include carrier performance management, coordinating appointments, and implementing efficient solutions to operational challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Process diverse order types (e.g., Regular, Direct, Resale) via manual input and EDI. Make updates to orders, handle future releases, and manage purchase order acknowledgments.
- Customer Service: Address order discrepancies, respond to inquiries from distributors, and participate in national-level meetings and calls.
- Inventory Management: Analyze sales trends, align demand with market conditions, and troubleshoot supply disruptions to maintain safety stock and total inventory plans.
- ERP System Management: Utilize ERP tools to manage planning parameters and business processes effectively.
- Logistics Management: Schedule carrier and customer appointments, monitor execution, and ensure compliance with customer requirements while optimizing costs.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on operations, performance scorecards, and KPI alignment using MS Office tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams and supply chain partners to ensure seamless operations and effective product launches.
- Problem Solving: Address customer escalations, resolve recurring performance issues, and implement sustainable solutions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) and certifications such as CSCP or CPSM are advantageous.
- Experience: 10-15 years in supply chain management or logistics, with at least 2 years in product-level forecasting and global supply planning. Proficiency with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is required.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, customer service expertise, and proficiency in MS Office tools. Experience with TMS/WMS and 3PL management is preferred.
