- Manage payroll processing for supermarket employees, including both hourly and salaried staff.
- Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (e.g., taxes and insurance).
- Ensure strict compliance with Kuwaiti labor laws and tax regulations.
- Administer employee benefits and deductions, such as health insurance and pension contributions.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with payroll audits.
- Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Support financial reporting, account reconciliations, and other accounting-related tasks as needed.
Skills and Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing and accounting, preferably in the supermarket or retail industry.
- Strong proficiency in payroll software.
- Comprehensive understanding of Kuwaiti labor laws.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
