Assist the category buying team in developing assortments, including brands, products, and agencies, to maintain freshness and enhance profitability.
Create new SKUs: Ensure accurate and compelling content is obtained from suppliers in a timely manner and input into internal systems.
Implement system price changes and promotions accurately and on time.
Monitor stock levels and sales, maintaining relevant PSI reports to generate suggested purchase orders for approval within the buying team.
Regularly update planograms in collaboration with the merchandising team to ensure effective display principles and drive the sell-out of phase-out/display inventory.
Ensure the accuracy of marketing briefings and obtain marketing team sign-off on all core assets for products.
Conduct competitor price benchmarking daily or as needed through social media, relevant assets, and store visits.
Visit core stores and competitors weekly, with actionable follow-up shared with the wider team.
Collaborate with the online team and category team to ensure accurate stocking and merchandising of category propositions.
Support the buying team in following up on marketing proof of execution.
Prepare relevant store communications for new launches, key promotions, SOP circulation, pricing, and bundle memo distribution.
Candidate Requirements:
Suitable for high-potential graduates or candidates with 2-4 years of business or category management experience.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop plans and assess market needs for the category.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of SAP or Business Objects preferred.
