Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Overview

You will play a crucial role in driving our organization’s growth by sourcing, assessing, and recruiting qualified professionals who align with our company’s values, culture, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition and Sourcing:

  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, industry-specific platforms, and referrals, to identify and engage prospective candidates.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of construction industry professionals, including project managers, engineers, architects, skilled trades, and administrative personnel.

Candidate Evaluation and Assessment:

  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates to evaluate their qualifications, skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Conduct technical and behavioural interviews to gauge candidates’ competency and ensure they meet industry-specific standards.

Communication and Relationship Building:

  • Foster positive and professional relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders, such as hiring managers, project managers, and team leads.
  • Provide clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process, ensuring candidates are informed about their status.

Conflict Resolution and Mediation:

  • Address any issues or disputes that may arise during the recruitment process, ensuring a fair and equitable resolution.
  • Act as a mediator between candidates and hiring managers, facilitating open and transparent communication.

Negotiation and Offer Management:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop competitive and compelling job offers that align with industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Engage in negotiation with candidates to secure their acceptance and close deals effectively.

Market Research and Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, market conditions, and salary benchmarks within the construction industry in the Middle East.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to make informed decisions during candidate assessment and salary negotiations.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to local labour laws and regulations in the Middle East.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, particularly in the construction industry.
  • Deep understanding of construction industry trends, job roles, and qualifications.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR software.
  • Familiarity with Middle Eastern labour laws and regulations.
