Position: Student Life Supervisor (Qatarization)

Responsibilities

Strategic

• Assist in the development of Student Engagement’s business plan to align with UDST’s overall strategy, focusing on key initiatives and projects.

Operational

• Oversee the implementation of various extracurricular programs, including multicultural events and student orientations, to promote a well-rounded educational and social environment.
• Supervise the planning and delivery of diverse student enrichment activities, using creative methods to boost student participation and enhance the overall student experience.
• Evaluate student feedback to assess program effectiveness and relevance to student life, ensuring continuous improvement of offered activities.
• Manage the application and enforcement of UDST’s Student Code of Conduct in accordance with Qatar’s laws and cultural values.
• Encourage and monitor student discipline, aiming to minimize behavioral issues and support a safe and welcoming campus atmosphere.
• Participate in and oversee regular student forums and meetings to promote communication and engagement.
• Support the Student Council and other student groups through guidance in leadership, organization, resource management, and advice.
• Provide mentorship to council representatives, fostering innovation and new ideas.
• Assist the Manager of Student Engagement in creating a welcoming campus environment by planning and executing student activities that support recruitment, retention, and academic and career success.
• Collaborate with Student Affairs to organize Student Orientation, ensuring students are well-informed about enrichment opportunities.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines governing all aspects of Student Engagement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration required
• Master’s degree or professional certification preferred

Experience

• At least 6 years of relevant experience

Language

• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic
