Job Responsibilities:

  1. Project Shutdown Deliverables Schedule and Planning:
    • Responsible for overseeing the project shutdown deliverables schedule.
    • Ensure alignment with the Shutdown Management System (SDMS) and all components of the Progress Measurement System.
    • Develop, monitor, and report on progress to ensure all deliverables meet SDMS requirements and the highest standards.
  2. Support for Project Management Teams (PMTs) and Contractors:
    • Provide support to PMTs and contractors to ensure execution aligns with the Shutdown Management System.
    • Ensure full compliance with the system to achieve project goals.
  3. Tracking and Reporting Progress:
    • Track the progress of gate deliverables related to shutdown project execution activities.
    • Collaborate closely with the PMT to monitor and evaluate progress.
  4. Progress Reports and Schedule Maintenance:
    • Prepare monthly progress reports on SDMS deliverables.
    • Maintain a detailed schedule and planning as per Shutdown Management System guidelines.
  5. Shutdown Meetings and Site Visits:
    • Participate in shutdown meetings, workshops, and site visits to fabrication yards.
    • Engage in discussions to ensure effective planning and execution of shutdown tasks.
  6. Independent Work on Broad Assignments:
    • Work independently on broad assignments while adhering to company objectives and professional standards.
    • Ensure all phases of shutdown activities are carried out safely and efficiently in compliance with the SDMS.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field.
    • At least 4 years of broad experience in planning and scheduling major projects.
    • A minimum of 2 years of involvement in shutdown execution.
  2. Work Method Development:
    • Experience in developing work methods and formulating alternative approaches.
    • Ability to align work methods with established company policies, management directives, schedules, and professional engineering standards.
  3. Project Management:
    • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
    • Strong focus on ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards during shutdown activities.
