Partnership Specialist

As a Partnership Specialist at Marhaba GTS, you will lead the charge in identifying, establishing, and nurturing strategic partnerships with retailers and other key stakeholders in Kuwait. Your main responsibility will be to develop and execute a partnership strategy that aligns with our broader business objectives. By actively engaging with key industry players, you will cultivate relationships and negotiate partnerships that expand our reach and enhance our loyalty solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding:
    Oversee the full onboarding process of merchants for loyalty, rewards, and B2B marketplace projects, including gift cards, coupons, discounts, cashback, points exchange, instant redemption, and digital payment solutions.
    Build and maintain relationships with key clients across various industries, including F&B, airlines, hotels, telecom, and retail.
    Onboard luxury brands to expand the merchant catalog and enhance corporate programs.
  • SaaS Product Implementation:
    Lead the onboarding of clients onto the marketplace platform, enabling diverse brands to offer customized gift card solutions to both B2C and B2B customers.
    Integrate merchants onto proprietary platforms to enable real-time issuance, flexible denominations, partial redemption, and seamless POS/online store integration.
    Develop and implement regional partnership strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
    Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to support broader sales goals and expand market reach.
    Collaborate with partners to create marketing plans, budgets, and joint campaigns to boost brand visibility, customer acquisition, and sales growth.
    Utilize market analysis and industry trends to identify new partner opportunities and build a strong partnership pipeline.
    Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive partnership revenue, ensuring continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and higher profit margins.
    Work with Sales Support to ensure smooth partner onboarding and the successful implementation of partnership initiatives.
    Lead efforts to penetrate new markets through strategic partnerships, driving growth and expanding the company’s regional presence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or sales, preferably in loyalty, rewards, or fintech sectors.
  • Regional Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Kuwait market with proven experience in onboarding merchants.
  • Relationship Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience in managing high-profile partners.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with MS Office, SaaS platforms, digital payments, and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, market trends, and KPIs to make strategic decisions and drive performance improvement.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling partnership proposals and marketing plans.
  • Innovative Thinker: Ability to think outside the box and transform challenges into opportunities.
  • Team Player: Experience working in a matrixed environment and a proactive team member.
