Job Description: Landscaping Foreman (Softscape & Irrigation)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman with expertise in softscape and irrigation to lead and manage landscaping projects. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong communication with clients and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Supervision and Execution:
  Plan, coordinate, and execute softscape and irrigation installation and maintenance activities. Oversee the planting of trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass, ensuring proper soil preparation and plant placement. Manage the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip systems, and controllers.
• Team Management:
  Lead and supervise a team of landscapers, providing clear instructions and assigning tasks. Train team members on best practices for softscape planting, irrigation techniques, and equipment usage. Monitor progress to ensure timelines, quality, and safety standards are maintained.
• Equipment and Material Management:
  Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, machinery, and irrigation equipment. Monitor inventory of plants, soil, fertilizers, and irrigation supplies, coordinating restocking as necessary.
• Quality Assurance and Reporting:
  Inspect completed work to ensure it meets client specifications and company quality standards. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, including site progress, materials used, and challenges encountered.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication:
  Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure project requirements are understood and met. Address client concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
