Job Description:

• Collaborate with the Internal Audit Manager to develop an internal audit management strategy that aligns with risk management objectives, ensuring vertical and horizontal integration with related departments.
• Supervise fieldwork to test and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls in audit areas, documenting and supporting any material deficiencies and reservations.
• Liaise with other government departments to arrange for data collection, comparison, and exchange relevant to department operations.
• Contribute to drafting the internal audit report based on meeting summaries and submit it to the department head for review, discussion, and approval.
• Ensure timely completion and communication of individual internal audit projects in line with the internal audit manual.
• Identify gaps, recommend risk-avoidance measures, and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Propose and substantiate methods to address internal control deficiencies whenever gaps or inconsistencies are observed.
