Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Hygienist (IH) to join our team immediately. The selected candidate will play a vital role in safeguarding workplace health and safety by identifying, evaluating, and mitigating potential hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive risk assessments to identify workplace hazards, including chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic risks.
Utilize advanced equipment to monitor and measure exposure to hazardous conditions and substances.
Develop and implement effective strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Design and conduct training programs to educate employees on safety practices and hazard prevention.
Ensure compliance with local and international health and safety standards, such as OSHA and EPA regulations.
Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, inspections, and corrective measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications, such as CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), are highly desirable.
Proven experience in industrial hygiene or related health and safety roles.
Strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
