Industrial Hygienist (IH)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Hygienist (IH) to join our team immediately. The selected candidate will play a vital role in safeguarding workplace health and safety by identifying, evaluating, and mitigating potential hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive risk assessments to identify workplace hazards, including chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic risks.
• Utilize advanced equipment to monitor and measure exposure to hazardous conditions and substances.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Design and conduct training programs to educate employees on safety practices and hazard prevention.
• Ensure compliance with local and international health and safety standards, such as OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, inspections, and corrective measures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications, such as CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in industrial hygiene or related health and safety roles.
• Strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Previous approval by KNPC is preferred.
