Key Responsibilities:
- Provide SHES (Safety, Health, Environment, and Security) direction, guidance, and leadership to the Project Onshore PMT and CONTRACTOR(s) across all EPC packages within the designated area.
- Oversee the Project Onshore Welfare Management process to ensure that worker welfare and rights are upheld to the highest standards, aligning with Company values.
- Support Project Onshore EPC CONTRACTORS and Subcontractors in managing welfare aspects and regularly update PMT Management within the area of responsibility.
- Assist the Project Onshore Welfare Division Manager in managing welfare-related matters, ensuring accurate reporting and recording, and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken by responsible parties when needed.
- Support the assigned EPC package in all welfare-related matters, including personal, contractual, site, and camp welfare.
- Ensure that welfare issues reported to the Welfare Operation Center (WOC) within the EPC package are properly recorded, tracked, and escalated to management for resolution when necessary.
- Coordinate and support the activities of peer-to-peer counselors (“Village Heroes”), including their selection, training, onboarding, and regular catch-up meetings.
- Contribute to the Project Resilience Program, with a focus on mental health support for PMT, EPC, and Subcontractor teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Welfare-Related Qualification: Relevant degree in fields such as Welfare, Psychology, Teaching, Sports, Health, or Security.
- SHES Certification: NEBOSH (or equivalent) or certification in investigation methodologies such as TapRoot.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant HSE experience, particularly in areas such as welfare, training, camp management, security, or health management.
- International project experience with Tier-1 EPC Contractors or clients, particularly in onshore production facilities (greenfield and brownfield projects).
- In-depth understanding of the project execution process in large-scale projects with expenditures exceeding USD 1 billion.
