We are looking for a full-time, on-site Senior Chef & Operations Lead at PASS THE SALT in Al Wakrah, Qatar. This role is ideal for a chef who has a genuine passion for food and is prepared to take on a leadership position, overseeing kitchen operations, menu development, and food preparation. You will collaborate closely with the team and play a vital role in driving the business’s growth. Key Responsibilities:
Support daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and upholding high-quality standards.
Work in partnership with a small team, promoting a positive and efficient work atmosphere.
Assist in managing inventory, food procurement, and cost control to optimize kitchen performance.
Interact with customers both in person and through digital platforms, embodying the PASS THE SALT brand with charm and professionalism.
Take part in video shoots, product promotions, and various marketing initiatives.
Exhibit mastery of grilling—grilling skills are particularly valued.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Be open to additional responsibilities and contribute to business growth.
Qualifications:
Experience in culinary arts, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Solid understanding of food safety guidelines and quality standards.
Creative ability to design new recipes and seasonal menu offerings.
Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to innovate solutions.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is advantageous.
Charismatic and comfortable in front of the camera for content creation.
A strong desire to evolve into a leadership role and aid in the business’s development.
