ACCOUNTANT
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in the accounting and auditing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting financial reporting and analysis to drive business decisions and ensure financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Process and review journal entries, account adjustments, and corrections.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections. Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4 to 8 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the accounting and auditing industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
