Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with UAE accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain general ledger accounts and handle journal entries and month-end closings.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring prompt collections and payments.
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial decision-making.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing essential documentation.
Ensure all financial activities comply with local regulations and accounting standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ accounting experience, with a solid understanding of UAE financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks, and advanced Excel capabilities.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills for effective cross-department coordination.
